Hello my name is Kayla and I have an highlighter addiction

Just to clarify not the colourful pens that you use to highlight things on paper I mean the shiny powder us beauty lovers love to put on our faces. I LOVE LOVE LOVE highlighters and would liken myself a bird who is spotting a shiny object on the beach when I see a beautiful highlighter at my local make up counters. Here are my three favourite’s that i have discovered thus far.

Sleek MakeUP Highlighting Palette – Solstice

This palette come with four powder and one cream highlighter. The names of each highlighter are solstice related which are Ecliptic (rose gold cream shade), Hemisphere (purple shade), Subsolar (yellow shade) and Equinox (orange shade). My favourite shade of the palette is Hemisphere. I find all of these shades to apply so well I cannot fault it. I find Ecliptic  perfect to use as as a brow highlight.

Pixi x Aspyn Ovard Glow-y Powder – London Lusture

This highlighter is so beautiful and luminous and leaves such a natural glow. Since I purchased this highlighter on ASOS it has been my most used highlighter.

Kylie Cosmetics Kylighter -Strawberry Shortcake

I love Kylie’s lipsticks and eyeshadows so when I found out that she was bringing out a highlighter range I very excited to try them out. I got my hands on the her light pink highlighter called Strawberry Shortcake. This is the first pink highlighter I have ever used and I love the results that I get when using it. This is a buildable highlighter which I love as I can get a nice and natural look or a bold look.

These are my three favourite blushes, let me know your favourites and if there are any other highlighters you recommend I try 🙂
