Is it worth is a new series that I am going to start here on my blog. Today I am going to talk about the Glam Glow face masks, in particular power mud and thirsty mud and whether or not they deserve to have the huge price tag that they do.
I love face masks, they are a vital part of my skincare routine. I tend to use them about three to four times a week depending on how my skin is treating me.
I have always heard about how good Glam Glow products and also I have heard just how expensive they are (in New Zealand the full size pots are NZ$109). Mecca Maxima has just opened near where I live and I found two of there masks in mini form in the aisle of doom (you know the section of mini products they have in the line whilst you are waiting to purchase your products) and had to pick them up as I have always wanted to try them. Both masks came in a 15gram pot full of the product which cost me $29each and each pot gives you four to five application of the mask. I have used each mask four times and have one application left. Do i think these products are worth it ?? I think so and this is why..
Power Mud (green) – this is a mud to oil mask. I apply it with a brush and let it set on my face and let it set. Once the mask has set I put warm water on my hand and rub it into my face and then take the excess off with a warm flannel. This mask is a dual cleansing mask and it leaves my face feeling SO clean unlike any face mask or cleanser has. It does such a good job at getting all the dirt and grime out of my skin.
Thirsty Mud (blue) – this is a hydrating treatment for your skin, and unlike any mask i have used before to take it off you dab it with a handy towel and and rub the excess into your skin like a moisturizer. My skin is combination to dry and know that we are going into winter in NZ this is an absolute must. This mask leaves my skin feeling super soft, smooth and quenched. It gets rid of dry patches on my skin which other hydrating masks don’t do.
These face masks have been able to achieve things that many other face masks that i have tried before haven’t. Overall I think Glam Glow face masks are definitely worth it. I think the results that I get from these face masks justify their expensive price tags. I would definitely recommend these masks to everyone whose budget allows it or if not to get one of the 15g pots as they are a little more budget friendly. Once I have finished these pots I will definitely be repurchasing them. I would also love to try the other masks out and are currently eyeing up their limited edition multimasking treatment set which has a sample of all of their masks.
I hope this was somewhat helpful to you all 🙂
